Samuel  Burt

Samuel Burt’s poetry has been featured in Colorado Review, Arc Poetry Magazine, The Journal, and Salt Hill, and a number of other print and online magazines. In 2022, Sam’s poem “Hunter’s Moon” was selected as a winner of the AWP’s Intro Journals Project. Sam grew up in Grinnell, IA, where he went on to receive a Russian degree from Grinnell College. Sam recently completed his MFA in creative writing from Bowling Green State University, and works at a college library in Iowa.
